Acted for a major Korean food producer Paldo Co., Ltd in the matter involving seeking well-known status for its flagship ДОШИРАК (DOSHIRAK in Cyrillic) trademark used for instant noodles. It is the first case when a trademark has been recognized well-known in Russia in the absence of consumer awareness of the identity of the applicant.
Successfully represented Christian Louboutin in an effective enforcement campaign against infringers bringing to the Russian market products illegally marked with the client’s trademarks, including counterfeit products with a red sole, which is protected as a trademark.
Successfully represented Richemont International in a precedent setting litigation involving cancellation of the JAEGER-LeCOULTRE and VACHERON CONSTANTIN trademarks registered in Russia in the name of third parties.
Provision of the international patenting services for the Rosatom group of companies relating to more than hundred PCT applications.
Successfully represented a Japanese manufacturer of automobile spare parts in a litigation involving a domain name registered in the .COM top level domain, considered by the Supreme Arbitrazh Court of Russia. This was the first case where Russian courts developed guidelines and justification for application of the UDRP criteria.
Successfully represented a major Russian technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products in a complex and intense litigation initiated by one of the biggest Russian computer engineering companies over alleged infringement of its patent.
Successfully represented a major multinational computers, mobile devices and software developer in a series of patent and trademark disputes.
