Legal secretary (temporary position)
St. Petersburg

The St. Petersburg office of Melling, Voitishkin & Partners is seeking to hire a legal secretary who can provide administrative and secretarial assistance to a team of lawyers at the highest level.

This is a temporary, full-time position for a period of approximately 1.5 years.

Main Responsibilities

  • Typing, editing and formatting all types of documentation with speed and accuracy using MS Office applications
  • Translating and interpreting from English into Russian and vice versa
  • Making copies, binders, etc.

  • Welcoming guests and clients by greeting them in person or on the telephone

  • Maintaining a calendar by planning and scheduling appointments, etc.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous work experience in a professional services environment is desired
  • University degree
  • Superior oral and written English and Russian language skills
  • Full knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Experience in written translations of legal documents from Russian into English and vice versa
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to provide a client-focused service, excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a demanding and dynamic workload
  • A professional and resourceful team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
