  • Advised Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (AIPM) on intellectual property issues, related to the healthcare sector, and assisted with the revision of the AIPM Code of Practice.
  • Advised GlaxoSmithKline on the Russian part of its global joint venture with Pfizer’s Consumer Healthcare business.
  • Advised a US pharmaceutical company on Russian regulatory, contractual and tax aspects of the contractual arrangements for the conduct of clinical studies in Russia.
  • Advised numerous multinational pharmaceutical companies on digital promotion, e-commerce, digital communication with HCPs, patients, other stakeholders.
  • Advised a multinational pharmaceutical company in connection with the contemplated change of the supply chain structure for Russia and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Armenia.
  • Advised a global pharmaceutical company on structuring the agreements with the distributors and respective tax consequences for different types of remuneration. The transaction required analysis of complex issues, including regulatory, tax, anti-monopoly and corporate laws.
  • Assisted several multinational pharmaceutical and medical devices companies on conducting a compliance due diligence on prospective business partners in Russia.
  • Advised several multinational pharmaceutical companies on issues related to patient support programs (PSPs) and interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
  • Advised international pharmaceutical companies on specific IT security requirements applicable to pharmaceutical companies in Russia, and legislation on critical information infrastructure.
