Biography
Darya advises international and Russian companies on employees’ hiring and terminations, corporate restructuring, staff redundancy and other labor law matters, and also specializes in military registration, personal data protection issues.
Representative Legal Matters
  • Successfully represented a large Russian company during labor dispute initiated by the company's ex-employee who claimed reinstatement at work, payment of employment-related compensations for the period of forced absence, unpaid annual bonus and compensation for moral damage; advised on the procedure of termination of employment relations due to the company’s staff redundancy.
  • Advised a large pharmaceutical company on issues during labor dispute initiated by the employee who claimed compensation for moral damage, as well as on the investigation of an accident at work.
  • Advised large international companies on the matters of termination of the entire staff, supported the clients during signing of documents with the employees.
  • Advised international companies on changes to employment contracts, downtime, termination of employment contracts by mutual agreement of the parties and on other grounds, payment of retention bonus to the employees.
  • Advised a large FMCG company operating in the food industry on issues of recovery by an employee of interest on compensation for the period of forced absence, termination of employment relations with employees who are members of election commissions.
  • Advised an international company on personal data issues: developed full sets of personal data protection documents and provided advice to the client on data protection issues, cross-border transfer of personal data.
  • Advised a number of international and Russian companies on personal data protection issues, including participation in drafting necessary local policies and other data protection documents, advised on personal data protection issues.
  • Advised major companies on military registration issues, including employees’ military deregistration under power of attorney.
  • Represented companies in military commissariats on issues of maintaining military records and documents, conducting annual reconciliations of documents and approving annual documents on the organization of military registration.
  • Advised a number of major companies on various labor safety issues, including the investigation of an accidents at work, the development of basic local regulations on labor safety, advice on medical examinations of employees, labor safety trainings and other issues.
