  • Successfully represented a famous French company in non-use cancellation proceedings with the IP Court in a complicated foreign-political situation after suspension of its business operations in Russia, which jeopardized the acknowledgement of its legal standing on which insisted the defendant.
  • Successfully represented RusAgro Group in a long-lasting litigation initiated by the competitor company. As a result, the court fully rejected all non-use cancellation claims filed against a series of client's trademarks by the adverse party.
  • Successfully represented an American coffee company and coffee shop chain in a dispute against look-alike registration of the trademark by an adverse party in relation to coffee chain. The case was settled by signing the Mediation agreement, fully favorable to the client, which affected Rospatent.
  • Advised Mast-Jägermeister SE on trademark protection and opposition strategies of the client's famous Stag Head device in Russia.
  • Successfully represented Conde Nast publishing group in the non-use revocation proceedings against the trademark owned by the foreign manufacturer of clothing with the IP Court.
  • Assisted a perfume and cosmetics holding to negotiate the acquisition of the identical prior trademark with the competitor company and to complete the transfer of right before the global brand launch.
  • Successfully opposed numerous trademark applications imitating famous and reputable foreign brand names filed by the local companies / entrepreneurs.
  • Successfully represented a multinational FMCG company in its dealings with a former employee who had registered as a trademark in the name of his own new company a famous image that had been used by the client for hand creams.
  • Assisted Porsche with recognition of "PORSCHE" as a Well-Known Trademark in Russia.
  • Successfully represented Société Jas Hennessy (LVMH Group) in non-use cancellation proceedings initiated by the infringer as part of its defence strategy against the Hennessy trademark. The IP Court in both instances ruled in the client's favour and dismissed the adverse party's claim as filed in bad faith.
