Stepan Akishin specializes in legal support of banking and financial transactions. Stepan has significant experience in supporting syndicated lending transactions under Russian law, both for lenders and borrowers, in particular, within the framework of the VEB.RF Project Finance Factory program. Stepan also specializes in project finance and restructuring issues.
Represented two major Russian banks in connection with a complex syndicated loan to a large industrial group for the purpose of restructuring Eurobond debt;
Represented a syndicate of lenders in connection with financing the construction of a new passenger terminal and reconstruction of existing facilities at Novy Urengoy Airport, with investments totaling RUB 11.3 billion.
