Svetlana specializes in preparing legal opinions and representing clients in various categories of disputes (in particular, disputes arising out of insurance, supply, lease contracts, corporate disputes, disputes on recovery of damages) in arbitrazh courts, courts of general jurisdiction and arbitration courts.
Representative Legal Matters
  • Represented a customer in the oil and gas industry in a debt recovery dispute of more than RUB 1.7 billion under a construction contract.
  • Represented the owner of premises in a business centre in a dispute over recognition of the business centre as an unauthorized construction and its demolition.
  • Advised an insurance company and represented it in a dispute over recovery of insurance indemnity of more than RUB 1.7 billion.
  • Represented a landlord in a dispute over early termination of a lease agreement for an office building.
  • Advised a client in a dispute over recovery of more than RUB 3.4 billion in debt and damages from a construction contract and a bank guarantee at the cassation appeal stage.
  • Represented a client before the Intellectual Property Rights Court in a case involving the invalidation of a patent in part, developing the court practice of rebutting the presumption of authorship.
  • Represented a client in a dispute over the recognition and enforcement of a foreign state court decision in Russia.
