Melling, Voitishkin and Partners, one of the largest law firms in Russia, seeks candidates for the position of Trainee Lawyer in its Dispute Resolution & Arbitration practice.

The responsibilities of a junior lawyer include:

  • legal research, analyses of judicial practice and legislation;
  • drafting procedural documents and opinions in Russian and English;
  • representing the firm in state and judicial authorities;

  • assisting senior colleagues in managing complex projects;

  • participation in various marketing activities: preparing presentations for seminars, writing articles, etc.


You are the ideal candidate if you:

  • have a Degree in Law (completed Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees) or are working toward the completion of a Master's degree;
  • have a solid knowledge and understanding of the law;
  • have at least 1 year of PQE, preferably in dispute resolution, arbitration, or a related field of law;
  • can draft high-quality, well-structured legal documents;
  • have strong English language skills (at least upper intermediate);
  • are motivated, proactive, and stress-resistant;
  • are ready for an intensive work schedule.
